Origins
The Open Source Art School originated from a suggestion by the reader and davidh during a discussion on the art life blog about the problems of art education. the reader then set up the open source art school blog which has slowly transformed itself into this website which was set up by Ian Milliss.
OSAS blog
The OSAS blog contains posts by contributors and open comments. Anyone can comment and anyone can become a contributor by registering. The blog continues the previous blogs general discussions and we hope to slowly develop sections on:
- Sydney art schools
- Australian art institutions
- Exhibitions
- Artist statements
